Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Bank/Temporary Shifts)
Location: Portsmouth & Southampton (Private Hospitals – Various Sites)
Pay Rate: £45.00 – £56.00 per hour (dependent on assignment and day worked)

About the Role:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioners to join our flexible bank team, providing temporary cover at private hospitals throughout the Portsmouth and Southampton area. This role is ideal for practitioners seeking variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in line with professional standards

• Prescribe medication and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest level of patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Respond confidently to emergencies and complex clinical situations

• Adapt quickly to new environments and support teams as needed across different hospital sites

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with valid NMC registration

• Proven experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in the UK (hospital or clinical setting)

• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team

• Flexibility to work weekdays and/or weekends as required

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred (for travel between sites)

• Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
