Join Our Team as an Agency Domiciliary Care Worker! Guardians Recruitment is recruiting agency domiciliary care workers to pick up shifts as and when needed for our clients across multiple locations. This role is ideal if you want flexible work that fits around other commitments, with the option to take shifts that suit your availability. This role involves providing compassionate care and supporting vulnerable and complex adults in and out of their home on an adhoc basis.
What you'll be doing
- You’ll be supporting people to live safely and independently at home. Duties may include:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Medication support (where trained/authorised)
- Meal preparation and hydration support
- Light domestic tasks and companionship
- Moving & handling (where required)
- Accurate daily notes and reporting concerns promptly
What we're looking for
- Essential:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience in domiciliary/home care (paid or substantial relevant experience)
- A caring, professional approach and good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Willingness to complete compliance checks and mandatory training
- Desirable:
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Medication training, moving & handling, dementia experience
